A Thousand and One Nights

Upon arrival, guests from all over the world cross an oasis (an oriental rug bordered with palm trees) and are welcomed by 4 guardians of the harem. They are led down towards the pool where the cocktail is being held and where our barman has created a special cocktail of Champagne and fruits. Musical entertainment is provided by a talented Arabian percussionist and two dancers. Oriental hors d’oeuvres are served. The Princess of the night (the birthday girl) finishes getting ready in her room. Suddenly her female companions appear on the stairs followed by the guardians of the harem carrying a canopy on which the princess is sat, hidden by a veil. The guests are astounded and the buffets are opened (dinner cocktail). The decoration turns the room into an oriental palace with rugs, sheer drapes, stools, low tables and lanterns… The menu is specially designed by the Chef. The evening is highlighted by different dances on a transparent stage over the pool. For dessert…surprise! A Taj Mahal birthday cake appears out of the smoke (smoke machine).

Champagne is served in crystal glasses and the evening continues with the amazing singers and dancers – The Goldsingers!
